  • NRA honors Pharmacy Board for outstanding revenue contribution

    The Non-Tax Revenue Department of the National Revenue Authority has officially recognized the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone for its exceptional contribution to the authority's revenue generation efforts during the 2025 financial year. The delegation appreciated the leadership skills of the Registrar in the revenue drive towards the consolidated fund.


    On Monday January 12 2026 a delegation from the NRA presented a special thank you card to the Registrar at the Pharmacy Board's office acknowledging the institution's commitment to timely tax compliance and its role in supporting national revenue collection.


    The presentation which took place in the presence of the Board's Administrator reflects the NRA's appreciation for institutions that demonstrate fiscal responsibility and contribute significantly to the country's economic development through consistent adherence to tax obligations.


    The NRA Board and Management singled out the Pharmacy Board as one of the standout institutions that played a crucial role in achieving the authority's revenue targets for the financial year. This recognition underscores the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in building a sustainable revenue base for national development.


    The Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone which regulates pharmaceutical practice in the country has set an example for other public institutions through its prompt fulfillment of tax obligations demonstrating that regulatory bodies can lead by example in supporting government revenue initiatives.


    This recognition ceremony is part of the NRA's broader strategy to acknowledge and encourage compliance among institutions fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility across all sectors of Sierra Leone's economy.
