Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone Staff appointed to lead positions at the 3rd Meeting of the West Africa- Medicines Regulatory Harmonisation Initiative Steering Committee-Technical Meeting of Experts

Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone Staff fully participated at the  3rd Meeting of the West Africa- Medicines Regulatory Harmonisation Initiative  Steering Committee-Technical Meeting of Experts

At the meetings' conclusion the following staff were appointed to serve prominent roles;

Dr Michael Lahai who currently heads the Quality Assurance Department  has been appointed to serve as the Chairman of the Expert Working Group for Quality Management in the WAHO Region

Dr Sahr Gbomor who currently  heads the Complementary and Alternative Medicines Department at the Board was appointed to serve as the Chairman Information Management System 

Dr Onome Thomas Abiri who currently heads the Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Trials Department was appointed to serve as Rapporteur for Clinical Trials 

The Board is extremely proud of the significant strides made by its staff and of the expansion of it's roles and responsibilities in the West Africa Region. It therefore congratulates the aforementioned staff and wishes them continuing excellence in the area of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Regulation
